From the bottom of our pint glasses–Thank you for celebrating with us!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather for the 14th Aleiversary if we tried.
January and February had stupid cold days and wet, nasty weekends (except for one). The wind would not stop blowing in March. I’m not talking about breeze. I’m talking about 35-40 MPH wind where your hair always looks like you are riding motorcycle without a helmet. Major tornadoes went North and South of the Piney River Farm the weekend before the Aleiversary.
When March 22nd dawned, the wind laid, the sun came out, the weather was warm. It was a beautiful spring day to celebrate 14 years of making craft beer in Brewcyrus.

Pre-party spent grains for the girlfriends and the kids.
We changed things up a little for the 14th Aleiversary. We moved the hours from 2 to 10 p.m., a little later in the day and in keeping with our new year round Saturday hours. That gave Brian and I a little extra time on Saturday morning to set up and to enjoy a couple cups of coffee at a leisurely pace. We had people rolling in a little after 1, in anticipation of the events to come, and by 2 p.m. it was about bumper to bumper cars rolling in. Personally, I think everyone wanted to soak in a little sunshine (without wind) with a fresh beer in hand.
The Aleiversary is our biggest event of the year. We estimate 500-600 people were at the Farm over the course of the day. Brian and I made the rounds trying to say “hi” to everyone while making sure our staff had what they needed. We had a lot of retail and distribution partners in attendance to celebrate with us, too. If we missed the opportunity to say “hi” to you, please know that we are still finding out about people that were in attendance that we never saw.
In the “wildness” of an Aleiversary day we hope that all of you had a wonderful time celebrating this thing that is Piney River Brewing Company in Bucyrus, Missouri. We wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you.
Here are some photos from the day to enjoy:

Everything was in place, even the sunshine, by 11 a.m.

We got a pic with Kevin Clary, the guy that threatened a boycott of the Aleiversary if Mule Team IPA didn’t make a comeback. The 2025 Mule Team IPA was Kevin Clary approved.

The crew that helps it all happen on Aleiversary day–Aren’t we lucky?!

Sunshine + People!

Andy popped over the hill in late afternoon and snapped this pic for the folks back at college…cars all the way down the hill to the BARn.

The Stevie Newman Band kicked things off.

The Hurricanes closed out the day.

Tinga Tacos was back, and we heard a lot of people say they were looking forward to getting Tinga at the Aleiversary!

Some Tinga/Piney River goodness.

When it was all over…still smiling because it was a great day!
