We have been asked for a long time about holding an event on the Farm during the autumn months. It seems like we spend a lot of the weekends in the fall doing events everywhere but at home. Join us this Saturday for Fall on the Farm.
We’ve got music! Two BARn favorites, Keith Allen and Casey Lynne will both play sets.
We’ve got food! TNT Wing Machine from Van Buren will have all the chicken–wings, sandwiches, bone-in, boneless. We’re excited to have them join us for the first time. We will also have soft pretzels and beer cheese in the BARn in lieu of pizza on Saturday.
We’ve got fun! All ages are welcome. Fido is welcome, too. We will have the games out for playing. Mary Suda from August Love is setting up her mobile boutique, too.
We’ve got steins! We’ve got a limited number of the first ever Piney River Beer steins available to the first approximately 120 people that come across the cattle guards on Saturday. You can purchase a stein and drink out of it all day long. If we have steins left over, yay, you can get one later. We will not hold one for you…sorry!
And there’s BEER! Which is the whole reason we all want to gather at the Farm in the fall anyway, right?! We have all the usual beers and Andy’s Root Beer. You are also welcome to enjoy our limited release beers, too. German Road Oktoberfest has been going strong but is nearly gone. Don’t worry, we have plenty to share this weekend and some 6-packs you can take home. We made one small batch of Sweet Potato Ale that will be served for the first time in several years beginning this weekend.
Yes, we will send a little bit of Sweet Potato Ale out into the world, too, so you might see it at your favorite watering hole on in your favorite store next week. Some of our distributors wanted some of this beer, but not all of them, so if you find it, GET YOUR PAWS ON IT! We ain’t makin’ more in 2018. We will have 6-packs of Sweet Potato Ale available this weekend, too.
Here are a few more details for the big day:
- Admission to Fall on the Farm is free!
- Fall on the Farm is open to all ages. We will give all attendees over the age of 21 a wristband so you don’t have to show your ID every time you want a beer. If you don’t have a wristband, you will be asked to show ID and our servers can provide you with a wristband.
- Pets are welcome, but they MUST be on a leash.
- You will need a “beer ticket” to purchase a beer. All beers are $5. Most beers are 16-ounces. The specialty beers like Missouri Waltz and Raise A Ruckus are served in a smaller cup or we will put less in your stein.
- You can purchase beer tickets in the tent outside the brewery or in the tap room with cash or credit. There is no limit to the number of beer tickets you buy at one time. Please be aware: you cannot hand cash to a server and purchase a beer. You must hand over a beer ticket. This will make the beer lines move much faster.
- Food will be served from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. or until it’s gone. The gas grill is GONE, so don’t plan to use it.
- Please bring a DD to the Aleiversary or make arrangements for a shuttle ride. Andy’s Homemade Root Beer will be available in the taproom and at the beer trailer. Water will be available, too.
- OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS ABSOLUTELY NOT PERMITTED. We have a wide variety of beers to choose from for everyone to enjoy.
- Last call will be at 6:30 p.m.
- Do to the number of people in attendance, we will not fill crowlers and growlers until 6 p.m. in the BARn, and they are “to go” only.
We are looking forward to another fun-filled day at the Farm with you this Saturday!
