We’re gonna Raise A Ruckus this weekend ya’ll!
The fun begins this Friday at the BARn. We will have 2018 Raise A Ruckus in its traditional form—aged on vanilla and coffee beans (Brick & Mortar Coffee’s Piney River blend, thank you very much). We will also have the first barrel-aged Raise A Ruckus, also aged on vanilla and coffee beans, but also aged for almost a year in bourbon and whiskey barrels—mostly J. Rieger & Co. barrels from our friends in KC.
Packaged this week, both of these beers are simply delicious. We’ve shared sips of barrels and even some samples from the fermentation and brite beer tanks over the past few weeks with friends, and we are really excited to share both of these beers with everyone in 2018!
Friday, Saturday and Sunday we will have these beers available on draft in the BARn, and you can purchase four-packs of cans to go (to cellar, perhaps?). We would love to share a pint with you.
Pizza is available all weekend long at the BARn, and Brian’s even promised to wrangle a few on his new pizza oven.
Saturday we’ve got a real treat in store for everyone when we raise the roof off the BARn with The Hurricanes from Springfield, MO. You may recognize a few of the band members, but The Hurricanes are bringing rock ‘n roll that pairs perfectly with one of the biggest beers we brew. It’s gonna be fun.
As always, kids are welcome—there’s Andy’s Root Beer for them. Four-legged friends are welcome, too!
Don’t like homemade pizza? Bring a picnic basket.
There is no cover charge.
And if Imperial Stout isn’t your thing, we’ll have lots Piney River on tap, too from our Farm Raised Funk–Lizzie Twister and Missouri Waltz with Blackberries–to Black Walnut Wheat and Missouri Mule IPA.
2018 Raise A Ruckus and Barrel-Aged Raise A Ruckus will be shipped to our distributors after this weekend. Limited quantities will be available on draft and in package in the upcoming weeks in some retail locations where Piney River is distributed. There is only one batch of this beer made annually, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. Enjoy!
